Ojays De Smart Mate, aka Maggie, is well-built, well-bred filly going back to great ranch bloodlines like Smart Mate (Smart Little Lena, Freckles Playboy), Holidoc, and Peppy San Badger. Standing at about 14.3h, UTD on vaccines and worming, stands for farrier and to be hosed off, trailers well, and has a friendly personality. Easy to catch, usually comes to you. She has drug barrels, logs and cows. She has a great on heeling. She is calm in the box and scores well, starting to know good position and takes a dally well. She has spent a lot of hours on the Heel-O-Matic as well as roped live cattle. She will begin entering local ropings this summer.
She does well in the arena and out. She steers well, she’s gets real soft at the walk and trot, and man can she sit and stop. She is very smart with loads of potential. She will continue to be hauled until sold, and her price will increase with experience.

I can’t even put into words how awesome this little mare is. She is by far my favorite horse I’ve started. RAB Keota Rose is a granddaughter of the Hall of Fame stallion Shining Spark, with Jet Deck on the bottom. Bred at the Legendary R.A. Brown Ranch (http://www.rabrownranch.com/horse-history/) Rose has been bred from high quality, proven bloodlines, and is eligible for the AQHA Ranching Heritage Challenge. Though she stands just over 14 .1 hands, don’t underestimate her, Rose is one of the fastest, smartest, and sweetest horses I own. She bathes, clips, stands quiet for the farrier, and trailers like a dream. Rose is the first one to come to a whistle or meet you at the gate, and she’ll follow you around like a puppy.
Rose absolutely loves to run and can go all day, but she’s got the brains to go with it. She has been ridden in all kinds of weather since she was started in August 2016, and trucks through the worst of it. She can be ridden in any saddle, bareback, and bridleless. She steers with the faintest touch of your leg, or shift in the seat. The first day I took her over a jump, she powered over 3 feet. She has been started on the barrel pattern, and tracks a roping dummy. She is started in break away and is coming along nice. She tracks the calf well if the run goes long. She opens/closes gates, has been ridden several miles down busy roads, crossed water and logs, and around trails. She can jump out of her tracks into either lead you ask for.
We have been using her for riding lessons and she does great with the kids.
